W. Washington, owner and operator
of RW Home Inspections, is a Certified Inspector through his
membership (Member #04071508) in the National Association of
Certified Home Inspectors. He is a Professional Inspector #7238
Licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
In addition
to inspecting 1 to 50 year old homes, Richard also has the
experience needed for those buyers building a new home. He
worked for 3 years with a large volume Houston area builder.
This experience has equipped him with the skills to quality
control your home and understand the construction process.
As your representative, he will communicate directly with
the construction superintendant to ensure your home is built
properly.
Of all inspection
associations in North America, InterNACHI is the only one
to require applicants to pass an entrance exam before being
awarded a membership. Over 52% of all InterNACHI applicants
are unable to pass this exam.
A member of the Texas Professional
Real Estate Inspectors Association-(Houston Chapter) and Katy
Business International.
A Certified Level 1 inspector from the Post Tensioning Institute
for unbonded post tensioning.
Richard is
a native Houstonian and currrent Katy resident. He received
his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in 1992.
He is an associate member of the Houston Association of Realtors.
Richard and
his wife volunteer in the "Keep Katy Beautiful" project, the
Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, and are members of the Fraternal
Order of Police. They also volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation and Katy Christian Ministries community
garden.

more time and effort than just about any inspection I have
attended recently. When receiving the report I thought it
was completed thoroughly. You explained yourself well, located
potential problems without making it sound as though the home

"Richard has saved
me hundreds of thousands of dollars on my two investment
home inspections and re-inspections before the closing.
One was a brand new home and the other was almost brand
new. I was surprised that the brand new home from a highly
reputable national builder would have few defects, too,
and one defect was serious, though minor. The second property
had electrical and air conditioning major defects in addition
to plumbing etc. These defects were corrected by the sellers
from Richards report. Richard listed these defects in his
second detailed report on each property which outlined the
them with clear pictures. I have bought several properties
recently and used few Inspectors, but I must say that Richard
does the job right - beside he is prompt and a courteous
person."
